TSS Alumni Association Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
The Code does not supersede other policies or agreements the Association has in place. This Code of conduct serves as a basis for ethical behaviour and decision-making in the conduct of the Association’s code of conduct and where appropriate adhere to that code.
The objectives of the Code are to:
- Provide direction to members and those working with the Association
- Assist members in dealing with ethical issues in ways that reflect the Associations’ values and standards
- Promote professionalism and excellence
- Express shared assumptions and organizational values
- Provide members with direction in ethically ambiguous situations
- Adhere to the guidelines of the Associations’ social responsibilities as outlined in the constitution
As a Member I will:
- Represent the TSS Alumni Association and Tunapuna Secondary School with professionalism, dignity and pride, and be responsible for conducting myself with courtesy and appropriate behaviour
- Behave in a way that upholds the values, integrity and reputation of the Association
- Treat everyone with respect and courtesy and without harassment
- Use information of Alumni within the guidelines of the TSS Alumni Association
- Avoid conduct which would jeopardize the community and the TSS Alumni Association’s effectiveness
- Use Association property and funds efficiently, carefully and honestly with due authorisation and without misappropriation
- Strive to create a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone
- Embrace and support the mission of TSAA through daily behaviour
- Fully support and upload decisions of leadership once made
Please Note :
Members are strongly encouraged to follow the reporting guidelines set up by this Code. Failure to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct may result in an investigation under the relevant provisions of the Alumni Constitution. This can result in disciplinary action including expulsion.
